I knew this was what it was. I knew it was just a mistaken title from the Napster days. I remember an alternative vocal from the radio in the 90s and assumed that was the version I was pirating, not the original from the black barbershop I grew up on. Nice video, dude. I bet their disbanding in 2021 was failed attempt to make another album. They heavily sampled in the past and made, in their mind, "modern" music to be sampled in the future, and they realized "oh shit real artist and musician do this, NOT US." With their own money they gathered real talent and made a hodgepodge of random tracks they threw and stuck to the wall. The various reports of the guest artist claiming "new, experimental, untraditional recording sessions" is them being nice saying Daft Punk did not know the process. Their manipulated/altered vocoder "lyrics" are not universal/worldwide at all,(most VERY LITERAL) except for the hit "Get Lucky." And what is it with everyone explaining things with contradicting caveats "music is this way, except when its not." If l listened to a 100 artists in 2013, I would say I listen to 1000's now in 2024. I didn't enjoy the album back then, so I thought I give the 10th anniversary issue a shot. Along with this RUclips video, it has not persuaded me that it's any better.
